Issue IV: Editorial
Editoral

Once again I wish all, A HAPPY NEW YEAR, Readers may be surprised a bit. The Tamil & Malayalam New Year starts on 14th April 2003. The Telugu Ugadi falls on 2nd April 2003. Muharram month begins on 5th March 2003. Even the Europeans were originally celebrating New Year in March-April only. That is September, October, November & December were called 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th months (Sapta, Ashta, Nava & Dasa respectively). For some unknown reasons the celebration of New Year was shifted from April to January. Ev en after this change, some traditionalists were celebrating New Year in April. They were reduced by others as April Fools. Even Baisakhi is celebrated in April. Needless to say that majority of us will be celebrating New Year during this part of the year.
