This is not an existential question to be answered by a philosopher. This is just a write-up about the editor of this e-zine.
I am an ordinary human being belonging to the international fraternity. I also happen to be an Indian, a south Indian at that, a Tamilian, an Iyer, a Keralite, a Palghatian, a Kalpathian, a Maharashtrian, a Mumbaikar, a Matunga-ite, a Hindu, a Brahmin, a Sanskrit student, a music lover, so on and so forth. I can be any of them, or perhaps none of them. It all depends upon the person with whom I am conversing to arouse any of the above identities within me.
This e-zine is not meant for scholars, but for laymen. Through the pages of this e-zine, we will try to give small pieces of information to ordinary men and women regarding religion, philosophy, sports, arts and crafts, music, etc.
For people who are orthodox and religious, who believe in following the tenets of their respective religions, but who at the same time have a healthy respect towards orthodox people belonging to other faiths, those who believe in rationality and ethics.
For people who are fundamentalists, bigots, and intolerant towards people of other faiths.
To begin with, SrikrishnaMangal will be a quarterly e-zine. Depending upon the response from visitors to this website, the periodicity maybe increased or reduced.
We very much look forward to your comments and suggestions. You can email the editor at:srikrishnamangal@yahoo.co.in
